Dr. Paul M. Adler


Paul M. Adler, MD is the Correctional Healthcare Expert with TD&P Consulting, Inc.

He has been active in correctional medicine for 27+ years, provides wrap-around health management to Police and Sheriff Departments, and he is the president of the oldest correctional health care organization in the U.S.

In 1995, for 13 years he ran health care for Rockland County, New York. He oversaw the county hospital, Nursing Home, Alzheimer’s facility, communicable diseases as well as the Department of Public Health for 3 years.

He ran emergency departments and training programs in emergency medicine in Pennsylvania, California, and New York. He was nominated to represent all emergency physicians in the state of Pennsylvania and headed up the largest emergency medicine residency in the U.S., at Los Angeles County General Hospital/the University of Southern California School of Medicine.

He is also the Medical Director of the Tele-medicine division of Orbit Health Telepsychiatry and Chief Executive Officer/Chief Medical Officer of Correctional Health Management.

Litigation Support – Dr. Adler has defended Jails and Prisons in Southern California, Idaho, Texas, North Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania, etc. He has been involved in Plaintiff litigation in many states including against Rikers Island, NY, and Cook County Jail. Dr. Adler still works as a full-time practicing physician and has helped attorneys and insurance companies in Emergency Medicine, Nursing Home Medicine, Public Health, and Hospital Administration since 1985. Dr. Adler is available to review and consult on clinical Correctional/Jail/Prison cases for attorneys for both Plaintiff and Defense.
